Guide
Sample SubmissionGuidelines
A pre-shipment checklist for sequence files, sample identifiers, manifests, and project-specific instructions.
Before sending anything
Do not ship material until the quotation or order confirmation lists the accepted sample type, quantity, format, address, and handling conditions. Requirements differ by service and sample type.
Sequence and design files
- Use unique names that match the order form
- State sequence orientation and mark every modification position
- Include vector maps, references, or target coordinates where relevant
- Remove passwords, unrelated personal data, and confidential files not required for the project
Physical samples
- Label each tube or plate position so it matches the manifest
- Record sample type, buffer, concentration data, and volume where available
- Use the packaging and temperature instructions issued for the accepted project
- Do not send hazardous or regulated material unless written acceptance has been provided
Shipping notice
Send the courier reference and final manifest to the project contact. The public address is not a substitute for project-specific shipping approval.
