Guide

Sequencing PreparationGuide

Planning and submission notes for targeted sequencing and project-scoped NGS work.

Choose the route first

Sanger and NGS projects have different sample, primer, library, and metadata requirements. Confirm the accepted route before preparing or shipping samples.

Targeted sequencing

  • Match each template and primer to a unique sample identifier
  • Provide template type, expected insert or region, and available concentration information
  • State whether primers are supplied by the customer or selected as part of the order

NGS projects

  • Provide the biological question, sample table, groups, controls, and desired output
  • Share available quantity and quality measurements without inventing missing values
  • Confirm whether library preparation, sequencing only, or analysis is included
  • Record the reference genome, annotation, and file formats required downstream

Submission

Use only the acceptance criteria and shipping instructions issued for the quotation. Contact the project team before sending irreplaceable material.
